How to Make

Apples:
  1. To make a picture with apples, cut 10cm x 10cm self-adhesive felt pieces in red or green. Draw apple outlines on the reverse side of the felt then cut it out the shapes. To make a white inside, place a felt apple onto the reverse side of some white self-adhesive felt. Draw around the edge to make a slightly smaller shape using the apple outline as a guide, either as a whole or half white piece. Cut out the white felt then stick it onto the coloured apple. Cut out small brown felt pips then stick them onto the apples.
  2. To make a felt leaf, dab or brush dark green paint onto a foam stampers then press firmly onto a piece of light green self-adhesive felt, or use different colours if you prefer. Leave to dry then cut out the leaf.
  3. One at a time, peel off the backing paper from the felt apples then stick them onto a canvas banner background. Add small stalks cut from brown felt with the printed leaf.
Honey and Bees:
  1. To make a picture with honey and bees, measure and cut a piece of pale blue coloured felt to fit onto a canvas banner, or use a different colour. Use the foam stampers to print a leaf pattern onto another piece of pale coloured felt as a decorative background. Peel off the backing paper then stick the printed felt onto the banner.
  2. Draw a bowl shape onto self-adhesive felt. Cut another curved piece for the rim of the bowl and a smaller yellow curve for the honey. Stick the pieces for the honey bowl on top of the background with a cut out felt spoon in the bowl.
  3. To make the bees, draw small (4-5cm) ovals on the reverse side of yellow self-adhesive felt for the bees. Add thin black felt strips for stripes, trim off any overhanging pieces at the edges. Stick the bees onto the background. Stick wiggle eyes on the bees and small white felt shapes for wings.
