How to Make

1. Using the template cut out the features from purple card (the face is a different shade of purple to the hair).
2. Stick and assemble the features using a jumbo glue stick.
3. Use a fine black pen and deco pens to add details to the arms, hands, hair, and face.
4. Set aside.
5. Cut out 5 long strips (3cm wide) from dark purple tissue paper and 5 long strips (1cm wide) from light purple tissue paper.
6. Fold the long strips in half.
7. Using super tacky glue, stick the folded edge of the tissue paper strips inside the bottom of a purple paper cup, remember to alternate the colours of the strips.
8. Stick the features onto the paper cup.
9. Using white and purple deco pens, draw 3 curved horizontal lines between the hair, and white dots at the bottom of the paper cup.
10. Then cut a length of ribbon and tie a knot at the end to make a loop.
11. Stick the ribbon to the top of the paper cup and the back of the kraken head using sticky tape.
12. Repeat these steps to create Grandmamah and Agatha Gillman. You can use the photo as a reference.
