Mini Matchbox Monster

How to Make

1. Print out the template. Draw the main shape twice, onto purple card, and cut out. Glue to the front and back of a matchbox. Cut out strips from the same colour to fit the bottom and two sides of the main matchbox, and the top of the inner matchbox tray.
2. Using orange card, cut out the mini monster's furry tummy and glue that to the front, as shown. Next, trim two strips of purple card, rounded at the top, for the eyes to be stuck onto.
3. Glue a rectangle of red card to the inside of the matchbox. Add in the throat detail with a black pen. Draw a set of teeth onto white card and cut them out. Leave enough room at the top of the teeth to fold over and glue to the top of the matchbox.
4. Add the wiggle-eyes by folding over the ends of the card and gluing them on top of the matchbox. Draw some hands onto purple card, cut them out and stick them on either side of the matchbox, adding orange circle details to finish.
