Create a floral inspired alphabet to add a vibrant pop of colour and pattern in your home. Arrange in a box frame for display on the wall, or pop magnets on the back to liven up the fridge

How to Make

  1. Paint the letters in varying shades of green acrylic. Use green, white and blue to mix different shades.
  2. Compile a list of flowers/ plants beginning with each letter of the alphabet, with images to work from.
    1. Anemone
    2. Buttercup
    3. Chrysanthemum
    4. Daisy
    5. Elderflower
    6. Fern
  3. Draw your designs onto the letters. Start by adding the flower middles first, then the petals, then the leaves. Keeping the shapes simple and repetitive work well.
  4. Colour the designs in with Deco Pens. The fine pens are good for detailed work.
  5. Finally finish the pieces by colouring the edge with a contrasting colour.
