How to Make

1. Firstly, use the template to cut out the shapes from card for the Diya.
2. Stick and assemble both halves of the Diya using a jumbo glue stick.
3. Outline the orange shape with silver self-adhesive gems and then decorate around the bottom edge of the card with blue and orange self-adhesive gems.
4. Cut a rectangle from orange card (the length of A3 by 10cm).
5. Mark and draw a vertical line 5cm from each end of the rectangle and fold both ends backwards.
6. Bring both folded edges together in the middle to create the card opening.
7. Stick one half of the Diya to the left and the other to the right side.
8. Lastly, spell ‘Happy Diwali’ in blue glitter felt letters.
